Getting Started

Entering your collection is easy!

Begin by simply searching for a car..

The search bar is available at the top of every page.

Our search system uses Key Words. Specific search entries produce more specific search results. For example, a search for 67 Camaro might return more than 50 results, but a search for 67 Camaro Treasure Hunt will produce fewer results.

Of course, you can click any car in the search results to view full details.

If your car is found by Search then a single click makes it personal.

Each car in Search results displays two icons.

Clicking the + Own icon adds an Inventory record with a single click; the Inventory icon turns green and the caption displays how many you own (initially, it's 1). If a green icon is clicked then the Inventory record can be maintained with details.

Clicking the + Want icon adds the car to your Want list and the icon turns green. If the green icon is clicked the car is removed from your Want list.

Listings of the cars you OWN or WANT can be viewed at any time. Use the drop-down menu at the top of the page and choose My Owned Items or My Wanted Items.

If your car isn't found by Search then add it!

Button appears at the top of Search results.

Creating a record for your car begins with clicking the New Item Master button.

You'll find tabs available for Basic Data, Images, and Inventory.

  • Enter at least the key details, especially Car Name, Series, and Year.
  • Upload an image. Adding a picture from your mobile device is easy; you can take a picture or add one from your camera roll. Editing and cropping functionality is provided. If you’re using a desktop computer then you can drag and drop images.
  • The inventory tab is used to add your inventory details for this car.

Clone is available when viewing Car details.

If you Search for and find a car that's similar to what you have, or if you want to suggest a change for an existing record, then click the car in the search results to view the details.

On the details page you'll find a Clone button and you can use this to create a copy of the existing record. Edit the cloned record to suit your needs and then click Apply to save your changes.
